Terms of Service

Effective: 18 January 2026
Last Updated: 18 January 2026

1. Welcome to Ranked Bridge

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Ranked Bridge (the “Platform”), including the Discord, Bots, Website, and Store (the “Services” or “Systems”).

These Terms create a contract between you and Ranked Bridge (the “Agreement”). Please read the Agreement carefully.

By creating a Ranked Bridge account using the /register command (“registering”), you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Ranked Bridge Privacy Policy, which can be found here. This will always be clearly outlined in the #register channel in our Discord. You can withdraw consent to our policies at any time by requesting for your account to be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any portion of our policies or do not wish to follow any (part) of our policies, you must stop using our Services immediately.

Ranked Bridge is an online community platform hosted on Discord (the “Discord”). Ranked Bridge Operates in conjunction with the Scrims Network (scrims.network) Minecraft Server (the “Server”)
When we say “Ranked Bridge”, “we”, “us”, “our”, and “ourselves”, we mean Ranked Bridge. When we say “you”, “your”, or “yours”, we mean you.

The Discord consists of an automated matchmaking system created by us (the “Bot” or “System”) and other automated applications created by us (the “Bots” or “Apps”) used to improve your experience. When we say “third-party bots” or “third-party apps”, we mean automated applications used in our Discord that are not created by us.

The Discord and Bots are together referred to as the “Core Service” (“Service”) or “Game”. Individuals with an account may be referred to as “users” or “players”.

To play, users join one of the appropriately named voice channels inside the Discord (a “Queue”). Once enough users have joined that match the internal set of criteria required, a “game” or “match” is created and all users are moved to a private voice call.

Ranked Bridge operates a website located at https://rankedbridge.net (the “Website”) and a web store located at https://rankedbridge.net/store (the “Store”). Within these Terms, in the context of the Store, we may refer to ourselves as the “Seller”. “Web Services” refers to our Website, Store, API, and any other websites that are operated by us.

A Ranked Bridge account can only be created on our Discord. Hence, the creation of a Ranked Bridge account or use of any services that require a Ranked Bridge account requires you to be of minimum age to use Discord in your country. Any individual found to be under the minimum age to use Discord in their respective country will have their account banned. If you are under the legal age to form a binding contract, your parent or legal guardian must read and consent to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Modifications

From time to time, we may need to make changes to these Terms or our other policies and documents, such as our Privacy Policy. Please note that we reserve the right to make changes without prior notice. Thus, it is advised that you recheck our policies and documents regularly. When changes are made, we try to inform our users via a message on our Discord. If action is needed from you, we will ask you to complete the relevant action at the next convenient moment.

All documents will always have the date when it was last updated at the top.

4. Rules

We enforce rules to keep the Discord a fun and safe place for everyone. Agreement to these Terms includes agreement to the Rules of Play.

Rules of Play

There are currently two documents outlining the Rules of Play: the Game Rules and Screenshare Charter.

5. Staff

The Ranked Bridge staff (“Staff”) team is composed of dedicated volunteers (“Staff members”)—many of whom receive no compensation.
The term “Owners” refers to all users with the “Owner” role.
The “Management” team is defined as all users with one or multiple of the following roles:

  • Owner;
  • Admin/Administrator.

The “Senior Moderation” team is defined as all users with one or multiple of the following roles:

  • Owner;
  • Admin/Administrator;
  • Senior Mod/Senior Moderator.

The “Development” team is defined as all users with the Developer role.
The “Moderation” team is defined as all users with one or multiple of the following roles:

  • Owner;
  • Admin/Administrator;
  • Senior Mod/Senior Moderator;
  • Mod/Moderator;
  • Helper.

The “Screensharing” team is defined as all users with one or multiple of the following roles:

  • Screenshare Manager;
  • Screensharer;
  • Junior Screensharer/Trial Screensharer.

The “Fair Play” team encompasses the Screensharing team.
The “Screenshare Management" team refers to all users with the Screenshare Manager role.

6. Child Safety

As stated in our Terms of Service, we do not allow individuals below the minimum age required to use Discord in their country.

We advise minors to avoid using real names or sharing personal info.
We strive to remove personal information in public chats and issue safety warnings regularly.

We strongly encourage reporting of inappropriate behavior.
Reports are handled seriously, especially those concerning minors.

Ranked Bridge uses both manual and automated moderation systems (including AI tools) to detect and remove harmful content.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for CSAM.

7. Punishments

A “strike” or “warning” is the lowest level of punishment. Strikes are a type of warning issued to players and are typically only issued for breaking one or multiple Rules of Play.

A “mute” refers to the restriction to submit content, such as messages, community posts, or other methods of communication.

A “ranked ban”, often alternatively and equally correctly referred to as a “rank ban”, is a restriction imposed on users to prevent them from joining a Queue (and subsequently from competing in games).

A “ban” refers to the process whereby all access to the Services is revoked for a user.

Strikes, mutes, ranked bans, and bans may be temporary or permanent. Users may find out if and when their punishment expires by creating a support ticket in our Discord and enquiring with a member of staff. In cases where a user is unable to access the ticket creation system due to being banned, they may allow a representative user to contact staff on their behalf. This ticket system may also be used to appeal a punishment should the user believe that the basis of the punishment is unreasonable, inaccurate, unfit, or disproportionate to their infraction.

A “termination”, also known as a “permanent ban” (“perm ban”) refers to a type of permanent ban where the user’s account is also permanently and irreversibly deleted.

A “blacklist” refers to a type of account termination issued to users who have severely breached our Terms.

Breach of these Terms or any of our other policies is considered grounds for punishment.

Ranked Bridge reserve the right to issue punishments and terminate accounts for any reason, or no reason at all.

Ranked Bridge has final jurisdiction regarding appeals for punishments.

Reasons for Punishment

Punishments can be issued for breach of our rules. See the ‘Rules’ section above for a non-exhaustive list of typical reasons.

8. Content

Our Content

You should not attempt to copy, recreate, redistribute, sell, claim as your own, or modify content created by us. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Our Services, or components of our Services (including our Bot, Website, and Discord);
  • Our artwork, graphics, banners, emojis, icons, and other media or marketing assets;
  • Our documents and text.

Your Content

When we say “your content”, we mean anything you post, create, upload, share, store, or provide to or through our Services.

You are solely responsible for your content. It is your responsibility to ensure that your user content does not violate the rights of other individuals and/or third parties, such as copyright, trademark, and privacy rights. Your content must also follow the rules set out in these Terms. If your content is found to violate these Terms, your content may be subject to modification or deletion, and your account may be subject to punishment.

If you see something that infringes your copyright or privacy, contact us using the contact information at the end of the Privacy Policy.

We do not claim ownership of your content. However, you grant us a licence to use your content in a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual, fully paid, sublicensable, and transferable nature, and allow us to distribute, host, use, copy, modify, aggregate, make derivatives of, translate, display, and perform your content worldwide. You can request for your content to be deleted at any time by requesting account deletion from Discord for content you post on Discord, or by requesting the deletion of your Ranked Bridge account in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The licence will end once your content is deleted from our Services.

We reserve the right to remove all content for any reason we see fit, or for no reason at all. For example, we may choose to delete or restrict content for Moderation purposes.

Third-Party Content

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not controlled by Ranked Bridge. It is your responsibility to verify the safety of these links. Ranked Bridge cannot accept liability and is not responsible for any harm or damage caused by visiting, opening, or clicking any third-party links. Should you have doubts, do not interact with, visit, open, tap, or click these links.

Our Services may contain content that is embedded from or hosted by third-party websites or services. When this happens, it will be clear who the content belongs to or is being hosted/supplied by. Any such content is subject to the third party’s policies, such as their terms of service and/or privacy policy. It is your responsibility to check such policies and documents, as we do not manage how third parties operate.

9. Your Statistics

We reserve the right to modify, reset, and delete user statistics for one or many users in any way we see fit. Typically, this may occur for reasons such as (but not limited to): balancing changes, countermeasures or adjustments as a result of (fair play-related) punishments, or resetting all users’ statistics at the end of a Season. If we do so in a way that will or is likely to affect a large group of users, we will usually try to announce it before or after we have done so.

10. Giveaways

We reserve the right to delete or modify any giveaways hosted by us or our partners with or without (prior) notice. Additionally, we may choose to re-select the winners if necessary. Our goal is to ensure fairness and compliance with our policies.

11. Prizes

Prizes issued, for example from winning a tournament, can be claimed by creating a support ticket within our Discord. In cases where an event has been sponsored by an external individual, group of individuals, partner, or third party, we may redirect you to contact them.

We may refuse to issue prizes to users who have been caught violating our Terms or Screensharing Policy, or who have been found to have not competed in good faith, such as by cheating or using deceptive practices.

12. Store

Store Purchases

All Store products, once used, unless clearly stated otherwise in product checkout, are non-exchangeable, non-refundable, and non-transferable. Store Purchases are subject to our refund policy: Ranked Bridge Refund Policy

Purchased products can either be used, or unused:

  • Used Products: Products through which the mentioned features are consumed by you.
  • Unused Products: Produced through which the mentioned features are not consumed by you.

Unused products can be refunded within 48 hours of a purchase. In some cases, exceptions may be made by management for lightly used products.
In extreme cases, policy exceptions may be made irrespective of purchase date or purchase use by Management. However, these should be considered discretionary and offered as a courtesy. Used products are non-refundable given their digital consumable nature.

There are two types of products that we sell:

  • One-time purchase products: products that only require a one-time payment to receive;
  • Subscriptions: products that require an initial payment to receive, and regular payments–usually monthly–to retain access.

The price of products to be paid by you is set by us and will be clearly and accurately quoted in the stage when payment is due. We reserve the right to change the price of products. Changes to the price of one-time products will not affect any products previously purchased. Changes to the price of subscriptions will be effective as of the next billing period.

You may manage (edit, cancel) your subscriptions at any time via the Customer Portal.

We are not responsible for any loss or damage to products unless it is a direct result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence.

We reserve the right to revoke your access to any products you have purchased, or products that have been given to you, bought for you, gifted to you, won in a giveaway, or otherwise obtained. We reserve the right to cancel subscriptions. If this happens, your subscription, if recurring, will be cancelled via the payment gateway you used which will cancel the relevant payment provider and you or the person paying for you will not have to pay for any future billing periods.

Chargebacks, unauthorised refunds, and refund abuse will result in a blacklist from our Services. Please open a support ticket before doing these actions to prevent this.
